Everyday Martyrs - Christ's Love in Action.
Our Beliefs or The Heart Behind Everyday Martyrs
Everyday Martyrs exists because the ministry of Christ is an actionable response to the great commission. We are left with a last word from Jesus which is an expectation of who we are supposed to be. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 28; 18-20 “There for go and make disciples of all Nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to obey the commands that I have instructed you and surely I will be with you to the very end of days.
The greatest and summarized lesson in the gospel is to love God with all your heart, all your soul and with all your strength. The second greatest of the two is to love your neighbors as yourself. But Jesua taught us that there can be moments, through sacrificial acts, where we can love others more than ourselves, as Christ did when he died on the cross and created a new covenant with the seed. A part of sacrificing is finding wisdom and knowledge in helping others before yourself while being healthy to yourself. The greatest act of love is laying a life down for another person. This doesn’t mean we must attempt to unalive ourselves everyday. What Everyday Martyrs means, is that by taking the time to find wisdom and knowledge we are sacrificing our reasoning of what we want personally. We instead chose to seek both wisdom and knowledge through prayer and reading of the scriptures where in doing so we practice understanding the needs of others through grace by faith.
We cannot lay our lives on the line without having grace and likewise we cannot lay our lives on the line without having faith. We already acknowledge through practice that we have grace by faith. This is the meaning of life. That we were given His breath of life by Yahweh’s grace so we may choose to have faith or reject Him. By our understanding of grace by faith as is stated in Ephesians 2: 8-10 we rely on Him first and not by our works. That is why all things are created through grace and then by faith. Since we are living by faith and not works, we are seeking the substance of things hoped for. We believe, we hope, we bear, we endure, Since his grace is the evidence of things unseen, then our seeking through the believing, the hoping, the bearing and the enduring becomes the sacrificing.
Everyday Martyrs exists because we believe the ministry of Jesus Christ is meant to be lived, Nateot merely spoken about.
We'll continue refining that together.
Christ is the center, not the brand.
People are never content to be consumed; they are neighbors to be loved.
We will never exaggerate someone's hardships to gain donations.
We will protect the privacy and dignity of those we serve.
We will keep our promises, even when no one is watching.
We will choose faithfulness over popularity.
We will be transparent with money and honest in our communication
